Once again, I must stress that I am not a solicitor. `But having spent so many years in property management, dealing with modern day leases as well as leases dating back to the early 1900s, I consider myself an expert in residential leasehold law and in reading leases.

If I think you may have a case, I will tell you straight away but if I think you are barking up the wrong tree, I will also let you know, rather than taking you on an expensive journey which may or may not have a successful outcome.
Should I believe you have justification for pursuing things further, then I can steer you in the right direction, whether that be by taking your case to the managing agent or freeholder myself or by referring you to a suitable solicitor.
